PRO Barrier recently enlisted the help of Liquid Media Communications to redesign its web site to better communicate its anti-terrorism vehicle barrier designs and services to the security community.

Diebold contacted Liquid Media in need of an interactive training solution on parts handling procedures. The company wanted to reduce the waste and costs associated with improper parts handling by its service technicians. Diebold also wanted to increase the efficiency and customer satisfaction that results from proper parts handling.

As part of its 75th Diamond Anniversary Season, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra has updated their web site with a new look and feel. The new site appeals to new patrons and allows the symphony to better communicate with existing concert-goers. Liquid Media Communications provided custom design, focus group, web development, and web application services for the new user-friendly and informative site. Some site features include:

The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra staff can easily update the site content using a custom content management system. By adding and editing data using standard web forms, the staff can control the display of information throughout the site without the need for technical expertise. The solution created by Liquid Media and built with Macromedia Flash, provides alternate options for training delivery to maximize the training attendance and outcome. The product asks a series of questions about the training situation. The software evaluates and scores the answers, then lists the optimal training delivery mediums for the training situation. This solution has optimized training efforts at Diebold.

Andy Petroski, Principal Consultant of
Liquid Media Communications presented
information about online advertising opportunities to members
of the Lebanon Rotary on October 1, 2003. The presentation
highlighted the options available in search engine marketing,
online advertising, and online promotion. New trends like
advergaming were explored as well.
The JLG Interactive Product Catalog is
featured in Grabrielle Krim's whitepaper, "Making
PDF Documents Fly." The project is highlighted as an
example of combining video, audio, and photos with PDF documents
inside of Macromedia Director to create a seamless combination
of media and documentation. The marketing solution was created
by Liquid Media Communications in partnership with Take
One Productions.
On Thursday, April 17, Andy Petroski,
Principal Consultant of Liquid Media Communications participated
in a Central PA ASTD event - The Pros & Cons of E-Learning:
An Expert Panel.
The panel addressed the special
challenges that eLearning presents for trainers as well
as learners. Each panel member provided answers for a predetermined
set of questions focused on starting an eLearning initiative,
identifying appropriate subject matter, maximizing the eLearning
investment and distributing eLearning content in the organization.
An open discussion was also part of the event as training
and development specialists from throughout Central PA gathered
to share their experiences with and opinions about eLearning.
Andy Petroski, Principal Consultant of
Liquid Media Communications presented the new features available
in Director MX at a meeting of the Central PA Macromedia
Users Group on Tuesday, May 20. Director MX was released
in the fourth quarter of 2002 and includes new accessibility
features, compatibility with Flash MX, advanced debugging
and QuickTime 6 support.
